We are a friendly group of word lovers who meet weekly to play, learn, and compete in Scrabble. New players and seasoned tournament pros are all welcome.

About Us

Romford Scrabble Club was set up in 1992. We meet every Wednesday night at:

We have two start times: 6:00pm for 3 games, and 7:00pm for 2 games.

We provide refreshments and charge £4 for 3 games. Normally 8–14 players join us on Wednesday evenings.

Our regular players range in age from 11 years old to 78 years old.

Romford Scrabble Club also runs two annual tournaments.
